Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone,

Earlier this year my lovely friend Lesley was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. I first met Lesley at the George Formby Convention in Blackpool and have known her for about 6 years. She is one of the kindest, loveliest people you could ever meet. Staying true to herself, Lesley is facing this awful situation with a positive mind and a determination to live every day to the full.

As soon as she was put in contact with the Motor Neurone Disease Association they were there for her with the support and help she needs. They rely solely on donations to give this help and support to MND sufferers and their families so every penny counts.

Anyway, in a moment of sheer madness I have volunteered to have my very thick curly hair shaved off to raise money for this important charity. This deed will be done during the George Formby convention in Blackpool on the weekend of 15th-16th September. As my family and friends know I am always having a moan about my wild crazy hair but deep down I do really love it, and the thought of having it all shaved off scares me rigid! So please make this crazy thing worthwhile by donating whatever you can and helping me to achieve my goal amount of £1000.

Thank you. 😊
